Sitting in the floor with Leo in my arms as my mom, Tess, Mila and I play with kids, I tell them, “So, Ashton and I were talking earlier through private message on our site and she’s trying to put together a retreat or something for us ladies to meet and get away from this chaos. Now, part of that is because, get this, the other women and their clubs want their ‘Ol men to come here to help us rebuild. Isn’t that awesome?”

My mom and Mila look at me with skepticism in their eyes. “Do the men know about this little retreat y’all are trying to plan?” my mom asks.

“Oh, Jenalyn. I’m not sure Ace will be cool with that,” Tess replies, before I can answer my mom.

“Okay, everyone cool your tits, seriously. I’m going to talk to Justice after whatever meeting they’re having. And Tess, if I can get Jus on board, I don’t see any of the other men saying no. We all know how…” I say, but before I can finish, the low deep tone of Justice’s intrusion stops me from behind.

“Ahem!” erupts from behind me as he walks his big ass around and faces me. “Well, don’t just stop on my behalf. You were saying? What do ‘we all know’, Jen?”

I’m fuming inside at his audacity to come in here all smug after what he did. I pass Leo to my mom and stand. “Oh, don’t you come in here all Tarzan on me after what you did. Mr. Text-hider!”

My mom interrupts. “I think this conversation is best to be had in private, and not around the kiddos. So, take it elsewhere,” she demands.

Justice grabs my arm and as much as I try to protest and pull away I’m no match for his strength. He doesn’t hesitate to holler out, “Gladly,” as he pulls me out of the room and drags me upstairs.

Once in our room, he glares at me and I square my shoulders off, ready for battle. “Um, excuse me for being confused here, but I’m not sure what has your panties in a twist.” I look up and tap my chin with my index finger. “If memory serves, aren’t you the one who kept a text from Clara about Stormie and the baby from me? Or did you think I wouldn’t find out?” I lower and shift my eyes back toward him.

He kicks the door shut behind him. “Stop with your theatrics first of all. Nobody kept a damn thing from you. The text came through not long after you’d drifted off into dreamland and I wasn’t about to disturb you. You do remember your exhaustion, right? You know from the way I fucked that pussy of yours until you nearly lost your voice and consciousness from the amount of times you came? Or have you forgotten and need another reminder?” he asks, stepping closer to me, until we’re consuming the same air.
